Introducing the ZipDraw Connecting Variant for Smarg #1!

It is official—Smarg #1 has its first variant cover. (I think it is a little funny that we are showing off the variant before we have the Cover A ready, but oh well!)

Behold the ZipDraw Connecting Variant by the talented Zip Alegria, who you can find here on Instagram and Facebook. Jesse and I are extremely grateful that Zip carved out some time from his other projects to do this awesome piece for us.

This image is an homage to the famous Jim Lee X-Men #1 (1991) cover. I think Zip’s work in replicating the intensity of the image while implementing his own original twists is fantastic. I can hear this cover! Also… like its title suggests, this is a connecting variant! Smarg #2 will have another ZipDraw masterpiece to add to the story of this one.
