Countdown to Publication…

Holy where-has-the-time-gone, Batman! (Err… Smarg!) We are just a little over a month away until our publication date for Smarg #1. There is still work to be done to get every little detail ready to go to print, but we are on schedule. *Slowly exhales*

I couldn’t be more excited to bring this book to the public consciousness. As I’ve said before, I think the story is pretty good, but please refer to this post as LITERAL PROOF that the art is going to be elite. Jesse’s work gives me Dan Mora vibes.

Just a quick tip of the hat and word of appreciation to everyone who has supported our project so far by pre-ordering the comic or grabbing merch from the website. For those who have thrown down a few bucks already for the comic, you are buying a product sight unseen outside of the limited previews that Jesse and I have posted on our socials. Incredible—THANK YOU!

For those of you who want actually want to see the comic… that is fair! Rest assured, we will have books all over the Twins Cities and and greater Minnesota at a number of comic stores when we publish. I hope you take a little time to leaf through our first issue, decide that it doesn’t suck, and add it to your healthy stack of comics in support of a local business.

In the meantime, enjoy your upcoming Halloween festivities. This time of year just might be the best of all.
